Noone can deny that he has heard about Harry Potter this week! The seventh book was a success months before he came out and the secret of what the main character will become has been kept like a National Security issue! For each book you know now that comes a movie and we are only at the fifth episode now, The Order of the Phoenix.
The Story:
We are in use now, it’s the end of holidays and Harry Potter is quite preocupied. Cedric’s death has affected him much and he hasn’t received even a letter from his friends. He feels more the less lonely that the Wizarding Community is in denial about Voldemort’s recent appearance!
Before going back to school, he discovers a new organisation, The Order of The Phoenix, in which many of his friends are active. Their aim is to prepare an army to oppose Voldemort. At the same time, the minister for Magic, Mr. Fudge, impose a new teacher, Dolores Umbridge, an old-mannered woman. She’s there to maintain order with children and spy Dumbeldore…
Lead by a Potter who must regain his friends’ trust, the students decide to learn what they must do to protect themselves and fight the Darkness, defying Umbridge’s new politic in school…
The Critics:
It is actually the shortest movie, meanwhile books are going bigger in the series (the last one countains about 750 pages!), but we can expect the DVD version to add some more sequences. This episode is defenitly darker with real fights! Now the teenagers don’t want to wait for Dark to come! They want to prepare and fight. Harry Potter appears at first dark. In fact this episode is the key in Potter’s choice not to sink into the dark side.
More and More:
In the united States, the movie has already broke 2 records : the biggest box office opening midweek and the biggest five day non holiday takings ever! In the UK, the firs week has generated a massive £16.5 millions, which beat the previous record from Star Wars: revenge of the Siths!!! The Movie has become the biggest Warner Bros opener ever, and it is just a beginning…

Le tome 5 est le plus gros tome de la saga et le film est le plus court… Et ils se sont pas dit que peut-être ils avaient merdé dans leur adaptation ?
I do simply love it (not the 5th movie that I haven’t yet seen, but the whole story). I’m so eager to be able to read the 7th book this week-end.Bye
